Custom Kitchen Cabinets West Vancouver | TeamUP Cabinets
Our kitchen cabinets in West Vancouver are designed as part of the room, not separate from it. We consider the proportions of the space, natural light, flooring, finishes, and how the kitchen connects to the rest of your home. We look beyond where the cupboards need to go, considering sightlines into adjoining living and dining areas, where visual balance matters, and where storage can be added without making the room feel heavy. The result is a kitchen that feels like it has always belonged in the home.

High-End Kitchen Cabinetry
High-end cabinetry is often quieter than people expect. It's the consistency of the reveals. The way an appliance disappears into a bank of cabinetry. The grain running in the right direction. An island that feels properly proportioned to the room. Hardware you notice because of how well it works, not because it's calling attention to itself. We pay attention to those details because they're what separate a good-looking kitchen from one that feels properly resolved.
Designed for Everyday Living
A beautiful kitchen still has to survive breakfast, homework, dinner parties, and everything in between. We design cabinetry to be lived with, not looked after. Durable materials and finishes help handle everyday use, while thoughtful storage keeps busy countertops under control. The result can feel refined without becoming a kitchen you're afraid to actually cook in.
Custom Sizes
Good proportions can change how an entire kitchen feels. Our custom cabinets give us the flexibility to take cabinetry to the ceiling, create an oversized island that suits a larger room, integrate appliances into tall cabinet runs, or work around unusual walls and architectural details. Because we're not tied to standard cabinet dimensions, we can size each element to suit the proportions of your West Vancouver home rather than forcing the room around the cabinets.
Hardware That Lasts
You notice good hardware every time you open a drawer. It affects the weight, movement, and feel of the cabinetry, particularly with wide drawers, tall doors, and storage carrying heavier cookware. We use quality hinges and drawer systems, including soft-close options, so everything opens smoothly, closes quietly, and feels substantial in your hands.
Built Locally in Our Langley Workshop
Your custom cabinetry takes shape at our workshop at 20560 Langley Bypass. This is where the approved design becomes the finished pieces for your kitchen. Cabinets are cut, assembled, checked, and prepared before they arrive at your West Vancouver home. Keeping fabrication within our own process also means the team responsible for building your cabinetry is working from the same plans developed during design.
Colours and Finishes That Work Together
Colour doesn't have to mean choosing one shade for the entire kitchen. A natural wood island can warm up painted perimeter cabinetry. A darker finish can add depth to a larger kitchen. Tonal colours can keep things understated, while mixed materials can separate an island, bar, or tall cabinet wall from the rest of the room. We'll help you consider colour alongside the flooring, countertops, hardware, natural light, and surrounding spaces so the palette works as a whole.

Our Design and Build Process
Initial Consultation: This is where we establish the direction. Bring floor plans, inspiration photos, appliance selections, or simply a list of everything you want to change about your current kitchen. We'll talk through how you use the space, what matters most, and the budget you're working with. Design and Visualization: We work through proportions, cabinet configurations, storage, appliance placement, finishes, and sightlines, then bring the proposed kitchen together in 3D. This is your opportunity to see how the decisions work together and refine them before we build. Quality Fabrication: Once the design is approved, it moves to our Langley workshop. We build the cabinetry to the agreed specifications, with attention to dimensions, materials, finishes, and the details established during design. Professional Installation: Our installers bring the individual elements together in your West Vancouver home, paying particular attention to alignment, panelling, reveals, and the way the cabinetry meets walls, ceilings, countertops, and surrounding surfaces. Final Inspection: Before we consider the project complete, we go through the finished kitchen with you. Doors, drawers, hardware, panels, and final details are checked, and any necessary adjustments are addressed.
Materials and Finishes
The best kitchens rarely come down to one material. A painted perimeter can be paired with a natural wood island. Dark cabinetry can be balanced with lighter stone. A quieter door profile can give a dramatic countertop more room to stand out. Even the hardware can change whether the finished room feels understated or more expressive. With high-end cabinets, these combinations are an important part of the overall cabinet design. We work with solid wood, plywood, MDF, durable laminates, paints, stains, wood finishes, and a broad selection of hardware. We can design your cabinetry around the countertop material, sink, appliances, and other finishes you have selected, and coordinate the required cabinetry dimensions with your countertop supplier. We'll help you look at these choices together, not as individual samples on a table, but as parts of the same room. The aim is a palette that works with your home now and still feels considered years from now.

West Vancouver Projects
West Vancouver offers an interesting range of homes to design for, from established properties with traditional architectural details to contemporary spaces shaped by views, natural light, and open-plan living. Our project gallery shows how differently those kitchens can come together. Look beyond the cabinet colour. Notice how the islands are proportioned, how cabinetry meets the ceiling, where appliances have been integrated, how natural wood and painted finishes are combined, and how storage has been worked into the architecture. Those are the details worth bringing to your own consultation. Find the ideas you like, and we'll explore how they could work in your home. *insert images*
Proudly Local
West Vancouver may not be where our workshop is, but it's very much part of where we work. We're based at 20560 Langley Bypass and take on projects throughout the Lower Mainland, including West Vancouver. Our team comes to your home for the stages that need to happen there, while your kitchen cabinets take shape back at our shop. That gives us the dedicated workshop we need to build properly while keeping fabrication and cabinet installation connected as part of the same project. For you, it means accountability from the plans we approve together through to the finished cabinetry installed in your home.
FAQs
Is Custom Cabinetry Worth the Extra Cost?
Custom cabinetry gives you more control over the fit, proportions, storage, materials, and finishes of your kitchen. Instead of designing around standard cabinet sizes, we can make decisions around the room itself. Whether that additional investment makes sense depends on your home, priorities, and budget, and we'll help you understand the options before you decide.
How Do I Keep My New Cabinets Clean?
For everyday cleaning, a soft cloth with warm water and mild soap is usually all you need. Avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, and excess moisture, which can damage the finish. We'll also explain any specific care requirements for the materials and finishes you choose.
Can You Match My Old Cabinets?
We can often coordinate new cabinetry with what's already in the room, but an exact match depends on the material, finish, age, and condition of the existing cabinets. We'll review what you have and recommend the best way to integrate the new and existing cabinetry.
What Kind of Wood Do You Use?
We work with solid wood, plywood, MDF, and other durable cabinet materials depending on the design and finish you're looking for. We'll explain the differences and help you choose based on appearance, performance, and the material's intended use.
Do I Need to Move Out During the Installation?
Usually not. We build your cabinetry at our Langley workshop, then bring it to your West Vancouver home for installation. How long we're in your home depends on the project's size and complexity, and we'll provide an installation schedule in advance so you know what to expect. Backed by a 5-Year Limited Warranty Our custom cabinetry is backed by a 5-year limited warranty, subject to our warranty terms and conditions.
